Fresh into her last semester of high school, Len is looking forward to three things: spending time with her recent close-friend-turned-girlfriend, completing a summer road trip with her brother Brendon, and finally, getting the hell out of her hometown, to an out-of-state college where she'll be able to reinvent herself as whoever she would be if her Catholic mom wasn't always breathing down her neck. But then Brendon commits suicide, leaving behind a cell phone with a series of messages meant for Len alone. Illogies Un
A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.Complete
