I mentally scoffed at how inconsiderate the doctor was being, considering he wasn't facing me and his face was still emerged in my file. "Can I have some time to think?" The doctor mumbled something and I strained my ears to hear. "Excuse me, sir?" "I said, make an appointment with the front desk. Have a nice day Ms. Lawrence." The doctor got up and walked out of the room and I sat there skocked for a little bit. I was actually pregnant. A child was growing inside of me, but I couldn't support it. I was barely survivng with my best friend Holli and a baby was going to be our downfall, and I definitely wouldn't kill my baby. That wasn't even a choice for me. "Adoption it is." I mumbled as I tugged my blouse down and left the bland OBGYN office.

DISCLAIMER!!!!!! This book is probably very bad! Who am I kidding? there's no probably, it's very bad. There are probably some things that don't make sense or don't add up, and the writing in the first chapters (or all) is bad. I know I have improved but this was just a warning, so I don't get cussed out in the comments. Lol, jk. I wrote this when I was younger (I hated editing) so there are a lot of mistakes with capitalizing, punctuation, sentence structure etc. Read at your own risk. You were warned. ************ Excerpt. The pounding of my head could be heard from a mile away. I closed my eyes tightly and tried not to focus on the pain. I was becoming irritated by both the headache and the stupid chains. I opened my eyes and looked over at my sister, she was sleeping with her head hanging low. I looked away from her and pulled on the chains, ignoring the migraine I'm pretty sure I have. This is just pure cruelty, I really prefered staying in the room. I looked around the room, for what felt like the millionth time within this hour. I took a deep and long breath before I just let my hands hang to the sides of my head in the chains. My breathing slowed and I closed my eyes. I began getting up, trying to end this tyranny but Arturo held me back and that's when I remembered where we were, who I was carrying inside me. I cried quietly as I watched the woman scream and whimper as she realised the fate of her child. And the fate of herself. The surgeon wheeled her inside a door followed by the Doctor with the baby. "You can't do this to us! Give me my baby!" she sobbed helplessly until she said in a quiet voice, "Let me hold her once". The doors closed before I could see if they fulfilled her last wish.
