Annabelle loves her sister Beth more than anything.  She'd do anything for her to have a normal life, that includes taking up the task of becoming her mother figure.  Her mother is not around due to her...questionable job.

Cameron is very frail, small, and frightened, but at the same time has his own strength.  He's been hurt.  Badly.  He's been through things no one deserves to ever go through.  Then Annabelle comes along with her little sister and her own dysfunctional life and things begin to change.

Bridget has had to be perfect her whole life. She cannot eat anything unhealthy or her mom will yell about it for hours. But sometimes what mommy does not know wont hurt her. Bridget has been keeping a secret ever since she was little. When she was in middle school she met Vivienne and Dylan at a photo shoot. They instantly became friend once they found out that they were all attending the same school. Now freshmen in college and no one knows their secret...yet. They are in a new place for college and things are making them decide what is best for them. It does not help when Bridget has a nosy dorm mate, a hot guy who follows her everywhere and she is trying to play Cupid for her two best friends. She now has to decide what is more important a life her way or a life her mom's way.
