We all have that one dream that we desperately want to come true, don't we? I know I do, my name is Clementine Meadows or at least I've made it to be. My real name on my birth certificate is Amelia Rogers, I never particularly cared for the name my parents bestowed upon me, so I changed it in high school. But I should get back to the true point in this, description, or explanation, whichever. My dream is to be the merch girl for Sleeping With Sirens, I won't lie it mostly has to do with being close to Kellin Quinn, my one and only true love. But also to spend Warped Tour with a band I love on a tour I've felt I was meant to be on. Only I don't get exactly what I wanted. No, instead I'm stuck with some no name band, from Tampa, Florida. I mean who gives a damn about Set It Off? Who are they really? Does it matter? Of course, by the end of the tour, I'll learn they'll be more to me than I ever expected. Set It Off is a real band, as well as each of the band members, Cody Carson, Austin Kerr, Dan Clermont, Maxx Danziger, Zach Dewall, as well as their wonderful tour manager, Andrew Cramb. I would like to point out, that none of the guys are they way they are made out to be in this story, they are not jerks, actually they are the opposite, there wonderful and huge sweethearts. Mel Snider is the girl everyone stares at as she walks down the hall. Due to her best friend being the most popular boy in school, she's used to her fair share of malicious glares and gossip surrounding her. The only reason she doesn't let it bother her is because she knows that she'll have to endure it all once she's a famous drummer in a famous rock band. Having been searching for a band for years, she still continues to practice every day. With drumming being her life, she doesn't allow time for anything except schoolwork, her two best friends, and her sister. However, being the only person in school who isn't afraid of the violent bad boy, Devon Quid, she'd been forced to bring him his schoolwork after he refused to come back to school after his suspension ended. With Mel continuously bumping into Devon (as well as finding reasons to go see him), she begins to let him into her life. But letting him into her life means making the time to be with him. After always placing drumming at the top of her list, she wonders if she should continue to focus solely on her drumming, or if it's worth it in the end to balance her time to be with someone special. Jay is a bit of a misfit. In fact, if it was the 1950s, you may even call her a 'greaser' with her signature leather jacket and '78 Trans Am. She spends her days working as a drum and guitar teacher at the local music store, and her free time playing guitar in her garage band, Novus Orsa. Beneath the surface, though, she hides a secret that has nearly ruined her life once, already. You see, Jay is a closeted lesbian in a military town. Between her ultra conservative parents and the ever-swirling rumors caused by the betrayal of her ex-best friend, Jay is ready for her senior year to be over before it ever starts. On her first day, however, a chance encounter (or collision) changes the trajectory of her life. Demi is a transfer student, upset that her father's job has torn her away from the city, her boyfriend, and the life she knows. It hasn't been an easy adjustment to such a tiny, boring town, and she doesn't even have a car to get away.
