the king of south korea has overthrown the king of france. Although there was a change in kings everything stayed the same.
society was still broken up and seperated into different etstates and the king still had all the power.

chaelin muller has always been poor. which is why her an her family are in the lowest estate. she cant afford clothes and food for family and is constantly having to pay taxes for all the priviledged estates or else she gets beat. she feesl her life is a mess, but things get messier along the way when 2 boys become apart of her story
