Hermione Granger really shouldn't be doing this, she knew too. Draco Malfoy really shouldn't be giving her this idea, but he was. What happens when they're ingenious plan takes a turn towards more, you run. Fast.

One year after the plan of theirs fell apart they meet again, at Hogwarts. She's engaged to Ron, and all but forgotten Draco. He hasn't forgotten either. Draco made the mistake of approaching her in front of the boys, they didn't let him get in a word. But she did. "Meet me later," under her breath it was muttered. He stared before nodding his head and walking away. With those three words everything got a bit too forbidden for one castle.

The most scandalous thing ever to happen to her, the ride of his life. What will happen when someone finds out?

(Just an FYI, they get jobs as paid interns until they can get the school fixed back up. In case anyone cared because I never say it in the story.)

Tale as old as Time song as old as rhyme beauty and the Beast. In a time long ago where muggles and wizards lived together, lied prejudices. It was always the muggles vs the wizards. The wizards always saw themselves as better than the muggles. Of course, there is one place that showed that the most and that was the kingdom of Hogwarts. In that kingdom there was a ruthless, cold hearted prince named Draco Malfoy. He was as colder than ice and hated muggles with a passion. He saw them as nothing more than dirt and made them aware of it. But within the kingdom, there was still some good. Not all the village people were prejudice, instead they made friends within each other. They loved to gossip, especially when it came to this new girl who just moved into town with just her father and a secret that follows them. Enter Grania, named after her mother she rolls into town seeking a new life with her father. She knows nothing of magic or that it even exists. But the thing she does know is that the village talks about her. They find her very unusual and different. She loves to work, help people in need, and things of that nature. But is it good or bad? She longs for, instead of adventure, love. But that seems far out of her reach especially when she meets a certain man who pushed her in the mud. However, she does catch the eye of a famous war hero that all the girls want. They both share this strange feeling that none of them have felt before, especially Draco. Does this mean that this Beast will soon find himself falling for the very thing he despises, or will he push her away? This story is an adaption from the 2017 new Beauty and the Beast movie. "I have a proposition for you," He said then, leaning back in his chair and looking at her with a smirk. "One that would be beneficial for both of us." Hermione raised an eyebrow. "Go on." "See, my mother has been trying to set me up with eligible women for a while now, and I, to be quite honest, cannot be bothered with it," He explained. "What does that have to do with anything?" She asked, her brow furrowing in confusion. "Answer me this: out of all the men that you could possibly date, who would annoy Weasley the most?" "What-" She froze, his words starting to sink in and she stared at him in shock. "You're not suggesting..." "Oh, but I am." He grinned widely, realizing that she was catching on now and he leaned forward to say in a low voice. "It's perfect; I get my mother off my back for the time being, and you can annoy the piss out of your ex-fiancé. Which, frankly, is a benefit for me too." She continued to stare at him, her jaw dropping slightly. "Are you really suggesting that we date?" "Not date," He shook his head quickly and corrected her, "Fake date." "What on earth are you talking about?" "A completely fabricated relationship," He said, smiling widely now. "And it doesn't even need to be long term. We can fool everyone for a few months, and then call it off amicably with no one the wiser." "A fake relationship." She blinked a few times, really thinking it over now. She would have been lying to herself if she said the idea didn't sound tempting. And it would truly annoy Ron... After a sudden, unexpected breakup with Ron, Hermione finds herself in a fake relationship with none other than Draco Malfoy, and as the ruse goes on she starts to question everything she thought she knew about herself and those around her. It's easy to think that the greatest battles are fought on the front lines, in dark alleys or behind closed doors. But for Hermione Granger, the most painful war was one she fought in the silence, on her own. Her marriage to Ron Weasley, once a symbol of hope belonging, had deteriorated into something unrecognisable. Behind the warmth of the Burrow, there were shadows-violent, destructive, and suffocating. But some battles, she would learn, were beyond her ability to win alone. When the chance to escape came, she took it. With nothing but her courage and a few belongings, she fled the life that had once promised so much, seeking solace in the place where her heart had always found peace: Hogwarts. But even within the walls of her beloved school, the scars of her past could not be erased. Not until she found herself working alongside an unexpected ally-Draco Malfoy. The boy who had once stood as her enemy, the one who had tormented her and her friends, now offered her a different kind of support. As time passed, the distance between them began to close, their shared history no longer a wall, but a foundation. They find something in each other they never expected to find again-safety, understanding, and love. But just as they begin to rebuild what had been lost, a shadow from Hermione's past returns to haunt her. Ron, desperate and enraged, comes to Hogwarts-his anger consuming him. He attacks Hermione with the same violence she had escaped from, and in that moment, Draco becomes her protector. This is their story-one of rediscovery, of healing, and of love rekindled against all odds. Together, they will rise from the ashes of their broken pasts and embrace the future both of them have always craved. ****Please note, this fic includes graphic descriptions of traumatic events including all aspects of physical abuse****
