❝You're Margarita Schuyler, aren't you?❞ ❝Peggy.❞ I correct. ❝Just Peggy.❞ The freckled face boy tilts his head and smirks at me. ❝Hmm. No.❞ ❝No? You can't just tell me you aren't going to call me by my preferred name.❞ ❝I can, actually.❞ Who does this guy think he is? And, why is he so attractive while he's being a jerk? ♡ John Laurens is angry. Peggy Schuyler is fed up. John is stormy and hot-headed. Peggy is bright and loving. Though her sisters tell her he's bad news, Peggy can't stay away from him. She doesn't want to. She sees something in him no one else does. John absolutely adores Peggy. She's the first person that's ever stuck up for him since his mother died. Peggy is his everything and he'd be damned if anyone tries to take her away from him. No one wants them together, and they're going to find out just how far their friends will go to break them up. John and Peggy made a pact that they'd do anything for each other. The lengths they go to, to protect each other will inevitably be their downfall.
