'Is this completely crazy?' I asked, breaking the silence that had been with us since we left the road. 'Yes.' I turned and glared at Miles, almost tripping over a large stone. 'You know I needed to get away, we all needed to get away from there.' Miles rolled his eyes. 'Yeah, well, normal people go camping for a few days if they need to get away.' Alex frowned at Miles. 'Remember, you were the one who agreed to come. Neither of us forced you.' Miles shrugged, stopping to adjust the strap on his duffel bag. 'You're right. But I still think it's crazy.' Miles was probably right, three legal adults running away from their wealthy life seemed a little insane. But running away gave us control of our lives, something we'd never had before. There was no other option, right?
