A viral bomb is something that, although you can avoid the initial impact, you can never escape the aftermath of. This is what everyone, including Sarah Lawson, had been told long before one hit them. And yet she runs.
With her daughter in tow, she desperately travels halfway across the planet trying to find people like her, who are untouched by the virus.
Her world is in ruins, and soon, she will be too.

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Oh, what a wonderful time to be alive! Medical care is better than ever, the number of homeless has dropped dramatically, and war hasn't been sparked for five glorious years. But. Oh, of course there's a but! Did you truly expect this to be a story about a utopia? (Especially seeing how it's written by ME, of all people.) The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. A cure can't be found and the virus is spreading like wildfire. People are still recuperating from the nuclear war and find that there is nothing they can do to stop the virus. I was diagnosed with having the virus on January 1, 2015. My birthday was on the first and so I had just turned eighteen. What a birthday present, getting such a deadly disease, or could it somehow turn into a good thing? One year to live. I had the virus.Complete
