Ava White is a regular girl, with a regular job and a regular boyfriend...until her destiny sweeps her off her feet and brings her into a new world, one of immaterial entities. Aliens try to create a hybrid species on Earth, one that will help them colonize the planet and increase their hegemonic power. And they succeed for a while until the spiritual forces rise and create their army under Ava's command.
