Just a short story I wrote for my uni course (the subject was remediation) and I thought why not share it. It begins after Delphine tells the dragonborn that they need to kill Paathurnax. The dragonborn is a female OC I created named Keira.

Dochor, The Dragonborn
This is the backstory of my Dungeons and Dragons: Dochor. I've always wanted to play D&D. Before I even started playing, I already created my character, like way before. I always knew I wanted to play as a Dragonborn (They are just so cool okay). I will not say anything about the class (sorry, you'll read it in the story) This backstory has been in my head for a long time now, and thought why not write it down and share it. The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand.
