I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. "thanks!" I called out to the girl behind the counter of Starbucks. I was about to sit down when I heard someone walk in. their voice sounded so familiar.
