Meara had it all, and now he's about to lose it all: the cafe he co-owns is floundering thanks to some construction going on next door, and if he loses that, he loses his job and his home. With both home and livelihood on the line, he and his partner Danny are doing everything they can to stay open, but nothing seems to be quite good enough.

Until a regular customer, Josselin, hears of their trouble and offers his services as a freelance business student.

And, oh no... he's cute. An assistant he might want to date is the last complication Meara needs in his already complicated life.

My Summer of Firsts

36 parts Complete

Summers in Arizona can be brutal. So can finding love in a small town when you aren't straight. At twenty-years-old, Steven has just about given up on the prospect. Instead, he saves his money, dreaming of the day when he can ditch his small town life for something more exciting. Preferably somewhere with guys who would actually be interested in dating him. But everything changes when a handsome new guy arrives in town and starts flirting with Steven. Being woefully inexperienced, Steven is excited-and equally nervous-by the opportunity to finally check some firsts off his list. Perhaps the one first he wasn't counting on will end up being the best of all.
