This book starts where Survivor left off only from a much more changed stand point and learning and living one day at a time. That doesn't, however, mean that I am cured of ME or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis; which I was diagnosed with in September of 2012 being bedridden for 2 years (2013-2015). This collection of poems will be written as I maneuver the road to recovery with the help of holistic medicine. I hope to raise further awareness of the illness as well as how peace, faith, spirituality, positivity, and forgiveness lead to a less stressful existence. I also do not let this illness define me so be prepared for some silly and out of the ballpark poetry as well as when days get harder because though the rebirth itself was through divine intervention, it wasn't a cure-all. I will end in this particular book on August 1st, 2016. It'll be a year since the Rebirth. The things I knew that were once unethical, were bound to be saintly. The dreams I dreamt once upon a time, seemed to be an epitome of nightmares. The heart I thought I stole long ago, always belonged to someone else. The crimes I have committed all my life, became a handful of lessons that I ought to learn. There are very less of us who can pinpoint their own wrong deeds and even lesser who work harder to make them right before we could cry over them and regret them. Similarly forgiving is hard but admitting your sins and then sincerely apologizing just to achieve the forgiveness is even harder. He was lost in the pit of darkness, he believed that this world is eternal, he forgot the real meaning of life, by name he was definitely Muslim but by deed...? But it doesn't take much longer when Allah tighten his hold, and only the sensible ones can get the 'message' in the moment, the few are there who falls in front of him and ask for his mercy. Will this young arrogant celebrity ever find love or perhaps happiness?? .......... Nawal ... a young chef who lives her life in a simple manner. She has gone through hell as a child but always looks at life from a positive angle. She was once a prostitute but turned her life over and stared afresh. She is gleeful and always spreads light where so ever she goes. The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying.
