“Please Alex!” he begged and pleaded at my feet.
“Yeah. No.” I replied. Then he grabbed my shoulders using his huge hands with a tight grip and stared at me with his luscious green eyes.
“Alexandra, if you don’t do this for me, I will tell everyone about what really happened in eight grade,” he said as a clever smirk appeared upon his lips.
I froze in shock. My blue eyes widened as I gasped. He wouldn’t, he couldn’t. But he used my full name, that could only mean one thing, Zack may look like he’s joking, but he’s dead serious.
“Fine!” I snapped. “But one condition-” but I was cut off as Zackery engulfed me into a tight bear hug.
“Thank you! Thank you!” he screamed as I grasped for breath while being almost strangled by this 6’2 monster. “I owe you big time Alex, you’ll see!” he said before releasing me and running off while you can see the joy ooze out of him.
And I guess that’s the start of how I became my best friend’s pretend girlfriend.
