When the demon Mestoph-an agent for Hell Industries-stumbles upon a cult of forgotten angels and demons called the Sons of Light and Darkness he takes it upon himself to uncover the secret of these long-lost outcasts. What he discovers is much more than he was looking for: not just secrets of the war between Heaven and Hell, but the Sons' plan to raise a god of their own to exact revenge against God and Satan. Sensing an opportunity to use the Sons to his advantage, Mestoph convinces his angelic best friend Leviticus-a cubical-dweller at Heaven, Inc.-to join him in his latest ill-conceived scheme to profit at the expense of their masters. With the aid of New Orleans Voodoo, South American shapeshifters, and African gods the two unlikely friends conspire to escape their eternal servitude to the politics of Heaven and Hell. However, their journey does not stop there. They become the target of demons. Most demons aim for the eldest son's power and the second son's ability. While protecting their father, they got injured. One day, while looking for medicine for his sons, the father met a young kid that claimed to be orphaned and lost. He took him in, not knowing that this young kid is the son of the underworld king. Seeing the illness of both brothers, even though he is not interested in meddling in their business, he reluctantly helps. Once the eldest and second sons wake up, they are both surprised. The eldest son, who can see one true form, was surprised that the new brother has the form of the underworld king's son. The second son, who can see energy, was surprised to see that the youngest son has the purest black energy that only one true demon can possess.
