Jamie just wants to live a long as possible life with Thomas an immortal who feeds on the blood of animals when his siblings of four feed on the innocent. Jamie does not want to be immortal she would like to live her life as a human even when knowing she will die and leave Thomas to live on. Ariel the second to youngest the most dangerous and unpredictable out of her siblings has a different plan for Jamie, for her to live her life without Thomas or have her blood line cease to exist in front of her very eyes. Thomas and Jamie have yet to prove that their love is true and Jamie intends to stay immortal for the sake of true love. But will Ariel let them be or will she make Jamie's life a living hell.
