On Earth, there are many unexplainable things, things that go beyond our scientific knowledge. Often these are labelled as religious beliefs or dismissed all together. But what if they were real? I'm here to tell you that animal communication is very much real, a basic form of communication we no longer need in our society, but it is there. In all of us.

Ever since my first meeting with Merlin, my grandmother's senior black feline. My opinions on the unexplainable have become a lot more open. So, you are probably thinking, yes this is perfectly reasonable, Max seems to understand he's done something he shouldn't. Or you might be questioning my sanity, either way you are still reading. What I think is...

How arrogant is it of us humans to believe, out of all the species on Earth, we are the solely intelligent life?
Fact is, we don't know. There is scientific information about every animal. But do we really know what's happening mentally and emotionally?

My goal, is to bring animals and humans closer together.

Animal communication is a bit like what psychics do. It's a telepathic communication, which allows you to listen to the animal's thoughts, just like a conversation. Some animals will show you what they can see, smell and feel to help get their point across. Often you can feel their emotions too, I compare it to the feeling of when you know someone else is upset.

I plan on using this book as a journal, to tell the stories (if owners allow) of the animals I meet on this journey. Fingers crossed I'll find my way to be fluent in animal communication.
