this was originally gonna be a nice short 1-2k word long typical cafe oneshot fluff kinda fic that got out of hand and quickly got really long and really angsty. sorry

A wolfstar AU (no-magic) {a relatively short story} The 1970s, a wonderful time of bold makeup, bell-bottom jeans, vinyl shops, police brutality and rampant homophobia. You get the gist. In which, Remus Lupin is a fresh-faced wallflower just out of college, supporting his community in miniature efforts, as to not get noticed. Sirius Black, maybe not as fresh-faced but still just out of college, is, let's say, a little bolder. He's happy to be noticed - even happier when it's the freckled boy that hides in the library. Disclaimer: my parents weren't even a twinkle in someone's eyes in the 70s. Historical accuracy isn't going to be my focus point; but I'll try my best. And obviously, I don't own the main characters, but I wish I did. ::::::Without context, I'm sorry in advance. Peter is dating Marlene McKinnon. Since the start of high school, everyone is trying to get Remus and Sirius together as they know they love each other. That is, everyone except Remus and Sirius. Now they have to go to college. Somehow, the six of them applied for the same college and got in. Will Remus and Sirius confess their love? Or will it all be lost?
