While Ambrosia the Honey Changeling is writing her book, her kingdom gets attacked and she flees with her only possession, her book.

Now, many years later, Ambrosia finds herself standing tall, and determined to retake her home even if she isn't sure she still has a home to retake. But, when she runs into something from another world, she realizes that maybe there's more to it than just her home. 

(Trust me... it's cooler than I described...)

This is set after season 7 and WILL give away spoilers, y'all have been warned.

*This was first started before the second half of season 7, so any errors regarding canon stuff is just because I didn't want to change the story over and over again to fit the show*

A warrior's place is not in hiding yet that is exactly where Mira finds herself; hoping that the creatures had forgotten her name, forgotten what she had done. With Deimos, the only creature unaffected by the curse, in her possession, Mira finds herself negotiating the terms of a deal that are not nearly as harsh as they should be and spending her every waking moment catering to the most feared monster. Mira knows better than to believe it was all a mere coincidence; to not assume the fae have something far bigger planned. Deimos too. Despite it all, the biggest challenge she faces is how to conceal her own ulterior motives and lies from her new team.
