Like most fans, I immediately imagined what the prequel stories would be when they were first announced. This fanfic is a mash up of what I originally envisioned infused with character names and places from the stories we were given. It does away with certain elements like prophecies and certain rules the bad guys adhere to, but keeps familiar faces and locations in tact. This story is my version of Episode 1.
The Jedi, elite warriors of the Republic, are only used when local law enforcement needs special back up to handle the more severe crimes. On the planet Corellia, a squad of Jedi led by squad leader Obi Wan Kenobi and Master Commander Yoda quickly find themselves in a situation more troublesome than originally thought. When death for Obi Wan seems imminent, he is rescued by a pair of local youth street hustlers, Anakin Skywalker and Owen Lars. Obi Wan feels gratitude for the boy and after sensing the Force is strong with him, offers to train him as a Jedi. Once Anakin is assured his girlfriend can go along, he is all too eager to take Obi Wan's offer. Upon Obi Wan's insistence, Yoda finally agrees to excuse Obi Wan from the squad in order to catch his new found friend up to speed in the ways of the Jedi. Obi Wan and his new learner are given what seems to be a rather easy, mundane task to focus on while they train, but the deeper they get, the more sinister things become.
Meanwhile, on Corusant, the planet at the center of the Republic, Anakin's girlfriend, Padme, finds herself getting deeper and deeper into a type of life she may not be able to escape. Afraid of costing Anakin his position, she tries other avenues to free herself of her bonds, but nothing seems to work. Her only solution may be death. Whether it's hers or theirs depends on how deep she is willing to go for freedom.

The Valkyrie (Obi-Wan x OC) completed
~In Norse mythology, a valkyrie is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Valkyries also appear as women with tremendous beauty, lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty. ~ After hearing of a weapon of mass destruction that was falling into the wrong hands on one of the Republic's planets, Obi-Wan Kenobi and his former padawan Anakin Skywalker are sent to Valeria to restore peace on the former quiet and peacefull planet. It is only after they capture the rebel's leader, a woman called Lyanna, that they discover that there is much more behind the so called 'civil war'. Some reviews: This is heartbreakingly beautiful. I love every part of this story, from the descriptions to the references. It's humorous and dramatic, tragic and fiery. I love this story so much oh my god 🥺 this story is so different than your usual fanfiction in all the best ways- the heroine is strong and can take care of herself, but she has flaws and she's not a mary sue. A developed world besides just the stuff shown in the story, complicated and memorable characters, beautiful writing, this story is just the best <3 Y e s No other words can describe this book because I'd have to use them all (Not your basic "love at first sight" story where there is no or rarely a mention of the Jedi's rules and Obi-Wan's commitment to them. (Because let's be honest here, it's almost impossible to make him ignore the rules) Plus, besides the romance, there is much more in this story and an actual plotline. Rey is sent by General Organa on an important mission to infiltrate the First Order from within, feed helpful information to the General and bring Ben Solo home. The hall was empty and dark, a mist laying over the ground like a veil. The temple felt like a beating heart of something maleficent and fierce, swallowing everything it could touch whole. She could feel his hatred growing stronger with each step she took. It was a weight that pressed down on her, forcing the air from her lungs and making it hard to breathe. She was drowning in his fury, feeling herself slip away from reality with each passing second. That was what it was. Pure madness, echoing through the halls and intensifying a hundredfold each moment. Feet stopped dead in their tracks, eyes closed and focussing on the force. Through it she felt his eyes, his dark, maleficent eyes focussed on her through the shadows. He shifted through the mists, the ripples in the air reaching her and spiking her senses. Lyanna opened her eyes, focussing on the dark figure that was hiding in the darkness. "Show yourself." She could see nothing but two yellow orbs, like the eyes of a predator, prowling through the mist. To say he frightened her would be an understatement. "The doctor." He chuckled, the mad sound echoing through the halls and sending chills up her spine. Her hand instinctively went out to her lightsaber, her thumb pressing against the button and her eyes trained on his figure. "I was hoping for Kenobi." His voice was low and threatening. Maul stepped out of the shadows, his eyes glaring at her from afar as he ignited his double-bladed lightsaber at his side. The red casted eery shadows on his dark face, his yellow orbs flaring with pure hatred as he snarled. I'm a Jedi Padawan... oh wait, I'm not. No Master will pick me. I'm the fabled "Weakest Jedi." My connection to the force is so below-average I can barely muster a force-push. My only powers include limited force-sense and basic enhancing of my physical attributes. Despite this, I WILL become a Jedi. How?
