Aaliyah is a 16-year-old regular girl just trying to get by. The boy she once knew is now gone - that is so she thinks: he's around somewhere. When Aaliyah once again sees her supposed dead "friend" she thinks she's going insane. Everywhere she looks she sees his familiar eyes, she'll notice it from anywhere.
Marcus is now an Angel of Bea. The city is now under attack and he must find a strong suitor to help him save the city, ever since he died he's been watching over Aaliyah. Every chance she got, she blamed his death upon herself. He didn't want her to cause any harm to herself so he asked The King if he can watch over her until the time was right.
She must now journey to a new place that she has no idea about. Save a city, and live to tell the tale. Aaliyah is convinced that she'll screw up before she had a chance to save the city against the Dark Angels. But when secrets become revealed - their mission gets even more complicated. Despite all odds Aaliyah is the chosen one to save THE CITY OF BEA.
