The year is 2018, two years after the series of events that led to Jacob discovering his grandfather's stories were indeed true, finding out his peculiarity and saving the  Ymbrynes and Miss Peregrine from becoming experiment tools for immortality to the twisted Mr. Barron. Jake has finally found out he's not normal, relationships and friendships have grown stronger and some have ended in the new loop of 1940. 

Then one day, after returning to the children's home from a visit to Abe's, he is introduced to a peculiar he unfortunately never got the chance to meet. One that is dangerous, fierce, damaged; nothing he's ever seen. One that might change everything Jake thinks of the peculiar world, but as soon as one glimpse into the peculiar's backstory, another battle will erupt; one that might cost everything, not for Jacob, but also the peculiar of darkness.

Just how peculiar. When she meets a certain dead riser, she's not sure exactly how to feel about him and Enoch certainly acts like he wants nothing to do with her. Still, the two must learn to work together in order to keep the little family together and save Miss Peregrine. Will a friendship form? Or maybe something more? Mostly based on the movie and not the book because it's been too long since I've read the book. The characters still belong to Ransom Riggs and not me. I do own Ren and my cover so please don't steal them. There will be some angst, fluff, romance, a few swears. But, as with all my fics, nothing to warrant a mature rating.
