Lisa Anderson is a werewolf, at least, that is all she believes she is. Her parents were killed when she was little and through the years she has almost been beaten to death, several times. So when one day, she gets tired of the beatings, and runs south. Straight into one of the largest packs in North America, where she meets, her mate, buy still has to worry about her past getting to her.
Axle Black, Lisa Anderson's mate, and the Alpha of the Blue Moon pack. His beta had caught Lisa on the border when he was out on patrol. This lead to Axle finding his mate, with a difficult background, and a hard time getting her to acknowledge him. And even more difficulty was to come.

*Axle's POV (chapter 14)*
"She had her hair done up, had little makeup on, and had some beautiful gold jewelry with butterflies that went with the dress. The clothes and accessories that she had on accented her skin and made her hair stand out. My eyes were wide and when her eyes met mine I was lost. Her eye shined and brought her to life.
I had been in shock since I had first laid eyes on her this evening and had lost my power of speech. Now my gorgeous mate was almost standing in front of me I regained that power.
'My mate, you are gorgeous this evening,' I said while taking her hand, I kissed her knuckles.
Lisa blushed and whispered, 'Thank you.'
The bush in her cheeks made her look so cute."

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
