I start to walk away again but he traps me on the wall.

"I'm going to figure you out Evelyn" he says putting his lips next to my ear.

"Be ready," he whispers as his lips touch my ear, making me shiver "you will end up breaking". I push him out of my way and leave the school.

_______________

Evelyn Dawson has been mute ever since she was eight. After a fatal accident when she was younger she couldn't find herself to speak again. It had destroyed her in a multitude of ways, including her family, and friendships.

She feels as if she is constantly blamed for her past and as if no one understands her. Having to keep all her emotions in for this long is starting to take a toll on her. Being tortured by her ex-best friend and her own family, she feels as if she is going to break.

In the midst of her junior year, seventeen year old Evelyn runs straight into the source of her new life that awaits her. It all starts with a much expected detention and the "bad boy group" nobody wants to get caught up with.

Greyson Daniels is known to not open up to anyone. He only trusts his closest friends, but might not tell them everything. His home life is in the middle of crumbling apart and so is he. His past is also dark and he hopes for a brighter future. As he is ready to finish up his senior year he grows a strange interest in the mute girl, Evelyn Dawson, whom he wants to figure out.

Being two broke pieces of a puzzle, can Evelyn and Greyson get put back together again?

What will happen when the truths of the past and all the built up emotions are finally let out?

Which of the two will break first?

"Why can't you just tell me what's wrong" he whispered, getting quieter than before and cupped my face in his hands. With every passing day we grow closer and closer. I feel like I'm leading him on but how could I just tell him? It's not that simple to just share my secret. I can't. Not to him, not to anyone. ** Bianca, the quietest girl in the class yet probably the nicest. The most afraid yet the most brave. The girl that is continuously served with things, that she could never in a million years deserve. Cameron, in her eyes, he's the most amazing guy ever. Cute smile, a freckled face and dimples, he had everything that she'd want in a guy. Of course that's just because it was he who had those qualities in the first place. He's been her only crush for quite some time, but he hasn't ever shown the slightest interest in her until now. When she was being continuously punched on the ground, he'd just stood there with his so-called girlfriend; laughing, because he had a 'reputation to uphold'. It didn't matter though, because she loved it when he laughed. Now they are chosen to work on a project together, in the process he learns more about her and becomes somewhat attracted to her. Could the last person on this earth you'd ever expect to, ironically fall deeply in love with Bianca? What's going to happen if he finds out about her big secret? And his supposed girlfriend? Maybe, just maybe he can become the cure that she's always needed.

The Best Kind of Betrayal

42 parts Ongoing

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
