As the summer comes to a close Will has to say goodbye to his friends and family (godly side of the family), with promises to visit every other weekend, they leave. And once again Will is left at camp for the winter, but this time he has more than just Austin and Kayla who are going to stay with him, he has Nico di Angelo too. 
But as the seasons change and the leaves turn from green to brown and as the frost seems to cover the world in white, Will remembers what happened years ago. And as he tries to understand, his world is shaken upside down. His world is in pieces, it is shattered because of three words. 
And all that Will can do is hope he's not too late.

I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.
