America is a 16 year old girl. She is abused by her dad and her brother, sometimes. She is also harassed and called names by the kids in her school. She works every other day at a bakery because her dad and brother wont work. She has to cook, clean and do laundry. Her mother died when America was young so America had to learn how to do everything on her own. America's co worker Celine is the only one who listens to her and wants to help her. One day the abuse of her father got so out of hand, her older brother helped her once, and made her leave the house. Ever since then, America has been living with Celine. Will America's life get better, or worse.??
