Sapphire is just about ready to give up on everything, school, friends, life, everything. Everything is hard for her, she can't even learn without writing things in her own special way, so she can understand it. Everyone laughs at her, for being stupid, for being tall, for being about everything they can think of to pick at her for, and she has just about had it. At her lowest point, she meets a very nice stranger, with a mysterious life. What makes this new stranger so mysterious, and why is she talking to Sapphire?
