Based on the poem by Alfred Noyes, this story follows the forbidden love between Bess, a landlord's daughter, and her lover, a highwayman wanted by the king. When the two meet on one of his "jobs" Bess could never stop thinking of the Highwayman since. Watch as their love grows, facing all obstacles in their way. But can their love survive till the end? (The first chapter is the poem just for those who do not know this poem and the story is my POV of before the poem)

One fateful night, a young woman flees with her family to take sanctuary in the church.
