"Mhm." The boy stared at Ember, who was still blushing. The boy blushed, before smiling and extending a hand. "Evan, Evan Stray. Short for something not important. And you are..?"
"Ember. Ember Heathens. Nice to meet you."
Evan smiled at Ember. "Same. Well, see ya." He started walking away, and turned back for a moment, to see Ember staring at him. He smiled, and winked at her. Ember blushed, and smiled and waved goodbye, as she just listened to her music once again. But out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw wings sprout from Evans back. She was probably hallucinating, since the haziness of the night always messed with her head.
