Temple De Silvia is an average college student with average grades and looks.
Though she likes being average, because of the last year and a half being average has not been the greatest. Qwara, their mother killed herself after Temple's sister,(Ashley), got a gender reassignment surgery. A month after that Ashley's wife Evelyn divorced her. So Temple has to grieve for her mother, take care of her self-destructive sister and her two nieces, (Maiya and Bela), one of which has a lung condition, and she is now on a mission to find her father who left them. Her life gets even more difficult when a man pops up in the middle of the road. He opens her eyes to a world that humans barely ever see and come out alive. How will she react to this new world and can she survive it?
