After Lucas discovers that he is an HV himself, he meets a girl named Rachel who possesses a virus that can generate flames out of thin air. They are soon on the run from the authorities who are trying to kill them on government orders, all the while making their way to the safe haven of a mysterious city that Rachel is from. Action, secrets, adventure, and survival are all prevalent in Fluttering Darkness as Lucas and Rachel journey to the city of HV's. ***** The official theme of the book is Dreams, by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, so there's a link to that over to the side.
