"Our only friends in this forsaken place are missing, and we have no way of finding them. And our only ticket out of this place is lost with them. And he's...he's..d-dead". She erupted into a sob but withheld the outburst of tears.
He peered down and wiped her descending tears with his fingers, being as gentle as possible. Feeling the softness of her skin redden and swell with heat from her dejection. She kept her eyes shut savouring his touch. She tried to hold on to the only warmth that gave her a sense of stability.

She wearily opened her eyes and caught sight of a street sign reading: KENDEL AVENUE.
She snarled "we're a long way from home".

Set in the quiets depths of West London, innocent 16 year old River Khalidas stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong involving her school's most notorious student-Braxton Jones. In the midst of a now chaotic crime scene, both teens are left in their possession a mysterious wooden box that transports them forcibly back in time; to a time and place that the box so chooses.
