Ayano doesn't feel emotion. She never had, until she met her beloved Senpai, Taro Yamada. He made her world feel beautiful and lively. She loved him with all her heart, and she'd do anything for him to be hers. And that includes eliminating her competition.

Shin was anything but normal. Quiet but snarky, he spent his time in the Occult club with his childhood friend Oka Ruto. Oka has trusted him since birth, and he'd do anything to protect her. He had helped her spy on the Basu Sisters, allow a knife into the school for rituals, and listened to her swoon over Taro Yamada. Learning that Oka had a crush on Taro-kun, he quickly caught on to Ayano-chan watching her.

Shin had sworn himself to helping Ayano as long as she stayed away from Oka, and he'd do everything in his power to keep Oka from pursuing Taro. This includes helping Ayano murder, stalk, and even torturing their classmates.
