Suspicion had been rising in the late summer month of August. Rumors of June's infamous last name and the fact that she kept mostly to herself gave away her secret. With the last name Gambaro and her frightening past it was hard to hide anywhere for very long. When she turned 18 and finally left home, she had to move every time her whereabouts were compromised. At last it had been a year since she was last found and June wondered if she could possibly stay in her small town indefinitely.
Of course the answer was no. Enemies of her father, and her father have been looking for her for years on end. When June is mysteriously attacked one morning who is it that has found her? And which one is going to fight harder to get her back?
