Amelia Johnson is a underground fighter. Fighting was something she did her whole life. Fighting her abusive father from a young age. Fighting for her life in many situations. Its all she ever knew. It was ingrained in her very being. Losing a fight that could possibly be the biggest of her life, she feels like she was just...useless. Injured and heartbroken, she heads to her private sanctuary in Alaska to recover and train. But she never expects that when she gets there to be slapped in the face by her past.
Gabriel Mason was her best friend when she was young. He was the only thing that made her happy and kept her safe when her dad went crazy.
Gabriel Mason was always a loner. Never with anyone but Amelia. And he never cared she was his only friend. But the day her dad came over to tell him his best friend was dead ? His heart shattered. But he never expected to see her in his hometown. But she wasn't the sweet girl with the twinkle in her eyes like her remembered. In her place stood a women who was hard and cold.
