Anna Penway grew up never knowing who her parents are. She was put into foster care at the age of two after her mother died. After Anna turns eighteen she has to leave the home and find work.
One night while she is walking around town looking for a job she meets Axel Guicciardi, a rich businessmen who is also really attractive.
Axel's mom is always pressuring him to get a girlfriend and settle down so Axel and Anna make a deal.
She must pretend to be his girlfriend for the winter well his mom's in town and in return she gets a place to stay.
