Hell and Heaven are at war, and Heaven is winning. But is Heaven really as good as it seems? And is Hell really the 'bad guy'? Brooklyn doesn't think so. She knows for a fact what twisted things Heaven does to its followers, the 'religious people'. And she also knows she has to stop it. With one order given to her by her fiancé Lucifer, she's ready to save the sanity of one very special male mortal. But Lucifer is afraid of one thing. He's afraid of losing Brooklyn to a mortal. While Brooklyn dismisses this worry, the problem is that Lucifer's fear is very valid, and Brooklyn might just lose her heart unwillingly to someone she can never be with.
