So, my OC Mel Scarlet, is a child of Hades that had met Thalia, Luke, and Annabeth while they were on the run from their parents before they had made their way to Camp Half Blood. She has a very tough personality and once Thalia is a tree, she quickly befriends Clarisse when she arrives. She meets Percy after begging Chiron to let her go to school, and he agrees as long as she takes up the duties of a Satyr while at school. (I kind of took out Grover only because he isn't really relevant in Heroes of Olympus)

Percy felt useless at Camp Half Blood. After David Roberts son of Zeus arrived at Camp Half Blood everyone started to ignore Percy. Even the Gods did. Poseidon himself was ignoring Percy. His own son! He didn't know why at first but then he figured it out. David had told everyone at Camp Half Blood that Percy left him fighting monsters on his own while Percy just stood there watching.
