"Elizabeth Marie, yes, okay Miss here is your schedule and textbooks." The office lady passed me four textbooks and I looked at my schedule. Chemistry and English. Then lunch, then free period. I had free period the rest of day because my head in still recover from the accident. So I'm Albino except for some awkward reason my hair is this darkish reddish brown. I'm still wearing big sweaters so people don't see the scars. Oh so being albino means I have red eyes and white skin. Fortunately the health problems never came so the doc said chances are they never will. I was thinking about this when someone slammed into me. I fell to the ground scattering my books across the hallway. "Fuck" I muttered. My sun glasses flew across the room when I landed and just my luck some kid hurrying to his class even though he's ten minutes late, stepped on them. Did he stop? no Anyway I looked up at the wall ish figure I slammed into. It was a guy who about 23, handsome and muscular. He stared at my eyes startled. "What are you?" I rolled my eyes "My name is Liz and iI'd love to let you stare at me like I'm some sort of monster in a cage but I'm already ten minutes late for Chemistry," I grasped my books and stood up. He shook his head "Uh wait sorry, um I'm Derek Hale." My eyes widened. "Aren't you a murder?" "No." he smiled "Not until proven guilty" I laughed. His smile was nice. It kind of looked like my dad's. Wait. What? "So you're a twenty something sexy guy, what the hell are you doing in a high school?" "Kid, You should go to class, maybe i'll see you around" My eyebrows furrowed "Wait!" he turned around. "Can I have your number? People say if you can make one friend on your first day of school you'll be fine." He nodded and took out his phone as I said my number. "Bye Liz" I bit my lip as he walked away "Bye Derek Hale" I whispered.
