He brushed his fingers along my cheek line. "I cant." i muttered, lamely. I turned, his hand pulled away. "Why not?" he asked. "I want to." i whispered guiltily. "Then why not?" he asked. The moonlight shone through the leaves in the canopy. "Because, we aren't meant for each other, don't you see? Your a fancy, rich kid, who can get whatever he wants by snapping his fingers! I'm an ugly, small town girl, who gets laughed at and called names and just about everything else!" i ha;f yelled. Tears ran down my cheeks. I took a deep breath, steadying myself, "I have to go." i muttered. "Wait." he said, i turned around, ignoring him, and began to walk away. He caught my arm and pulled me in closer to him. We were face to face, we were so close i could feel his hot breath on my lips. Without thinking i crushed my lips to his warm, and firm ones. The kiss was like magic, like everything had been cast away, almost immediately, my life was better. All the pain anyone had ever caused me just vanished, as i in thin air. My face turned hot and i couldn't breath. I was the one to pull away, my head pounded and my lips tingled with the remembrance of the kiss. "This will never work." i muttered. "I know." He said with a grin on his face.
