Kyler Morrison is alone. He doesn't notice it though. He also doesn't notice the actual conversations he has..... with himself. Kyler's parents want nothing to do with the kid from embarrassment. Which is why they're alway gone for business trips. Kyler is openly gay and embraces it when he gets the chance.
Easton Lander is popular. He's got more friends than even he can count. Easton's parents are wealthy and caring to him and get him whatever he wants or needs. Of course they have jobs too but they are always home on time. Easton is far in the closet and isn't planning on coming out anytime soon.
That is until he met Kyler. The two boys run into each other during one of Kyler's conversations. Easton takes a liking to the friendless boy and learns all he can about him. The popular boy makes it his goal to make the smaller boy happy again.

Easton King has had a hard life. His parents abandoned him as a toddler and he's been from home to home for as long as he can remember. Nobody seems to want him, they just keep him for a little and eventually they all throw him away to be somebody else's problem. Because of this, he has never been close to anyone.
