Ryan has a horrible past she tries to keep to herself. Two years after that incident her parents find it difficult to live with her since she changed so much. They send her off to live with old family friends, they aren't so bad and they have a really good-looking son, Erik. Ryan starts being her old self and not the dead, numb, soulless girl who cuts to feel alive she became after Dean made her life crash into pieces.
Will Ryan finaly escape her past, or will Dean come back to finish her off? Is there something weird about Erik and his friends amd is there a connection between them and the wolf howls?

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self.
