Nicolette is far from normal, but isn't everyone? Her family just got robbed, but it wasn't a normal robbery, somebody was looking for something valuable and they just seemed to find it. The stolen item was a necklace, the line between good and evil. Nicolette is also hearing voices, telling her to watch out for something she doesn't even know about. When she starts hearing those voices more and more, starts getting suspended, and becomes withdrawn because of the things the voice is telling her to do , her parents ship her off to a boarding school for delinquents. She meets a boy there, a boy who she has been destined to kill.
