Venture to Uncertainty (#1) by tarishannon18

It's a deadly plan, and it goes like this: First, become a crew member of the Avourienne, a pirate ship notorious for its charismatic captain and wicked ways. Second, trick the ship's cunning strategist, famous for winning every game she's ever played, into believing a delicately spun lie. Third, get close enough to their tyrant king to put a knife through him. Deadly doesn't quite describe such a plan. In fact, inconceivable may be the better word. But Archer Kingsley has a knack for such things, and he feels he's going to pull off this plan with the ease he does most everything. Perhaps he's not quite aware of the absolute hell that's about to break loose, but truthfully, it's so much better that way. Because true adventures are born from uncertainty. * Cover by xxsoteria Mature themes you may encounter in this book: - harsh language (it's a pirate book) - violence (it's a pirate book) - sexual implications (it's a PIRATE book) However, this story does not violate any of Wattpad's mature guidelines and therefore is not marked as such. Ravi has tried to do everything right his whole life. It hasn't paid off, and he's stuck working for his ex-boyfriend while said ex-boyfriend moves on way too easily. To escape that mess, Ravi accepts a command position running a misfit, low-performing crew out in the middle of nowhere. His very first night in his new life looks promising when he meets charming, enigmatic Lio in a bar. Call it a moment of weakness, but Ravi lets Lio sweep him off his feet and into a bedroom. He almost dares to hope that a spectacular one-night-stand could turn into something more, until he reports to his new command position and discovers Lio is on his crew. It's hands off the recruit, or risk losing command in more ways than one. Pining heroes, dysfunctional found families, possible spaceships and plenty of inappropriate jokes, coming right up!
