Dan's parents are always fighting. Worst part is: Dan's room is next to theirs, so he's basically forced to listen to their fights. One Day, while his parents are fighting, Dan gets sick of it and runs away from home. Once he gets lost, he immediately regrets his decision. After a couple days of living in the streets, a boy named Phil and his parents find him. They decide to take Dan home. Dan and Phil end up developing feelings for each other. The problem? Phil's parents are very homophobic.
