It's the year Mil. 215 on New Earth, a time where the humans have been split into two classes, labelled and branded for ever. The Helios, the class for the elite and The Selene, the class for the workers, miserable and underprivileged.

Luna Bishop-Smith is a Selene, living in the poverty-stricken suburbs of London with her grandmother, mother and younger brother, Leo.
