Book is completed! ✅ * January 2, 2020: placed third in romance category for the Duck Awards! The crash that broke through the last of her desperate hopelessness, was merciful, or so they said. Merciful, indeed. Merciful, for now she knew how cruel that promise had been. How had she managed to hold onto those words, as the world around her fell to ash? He hadn't remembered her at all, and she doubted he dwelled on the indefinite promise he'd made her. He hadn't remained the same, that she knew. He had risen to the top, left her to watch from far below as he became the star he had always dreamed of being. To believe he would return for her just because he had said so was ludicrous. Yet, if by some twist of fate, he did come back? "I'll come back for you," he'd said. Those vague words would be her undoing. **Inspired by Max Schneider's song "I'll Come Back for You" **Please do not steal my writing. This story took years to get down on paper and so much hard work!Complete

"Roses are red , violets are blue ...only if love was true .. !" These are the words she will often write down in her diary pages after pages. During her high school days when she found out that her boyfriend Todd Davis was only with her because of the bet that he made with his friends, Emily suffered a terrible heartbreak and humiliation destroying her faith in love and happy endings. Her relationship status reads" Happily Single, for the rest of my life". When her mother unexpectedly had to retire from her business , Emily is forced to give up her job as a vet to help her older sisters to run their family business. Only a miracle could save them from the debts that the business has and when a business man approached them to help him plan the "Engagement Party of the Year" they could see a light at the end of the tunnel. Emily found herself caught up in the enchanted world of romance and happy endings. Will that make Emily change her mind about love? .................................xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx............................ This book was my first attempt at the OpenNovella contest and it made it through all the rounds . Though it was not a finalist on the long list finalist , I am so proud of what I have achieved. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I hope when I finish this book I can public a clean version, with a different perspective leaving out these topics, but for now, this is how i've envisioned this story to go! Enjoy -Ash🌸

As we go through life, we meet people who leave pieces of themselves within us. They touch our hearts in ways we never expect, changing us little by little until we become someone different. Their footprints stay with us, reminding us that no matter how much we want to, we can never go back to the person we used to be. And then, there was him. We found each other at exactly the right time, as if our paths had always been meant to cross. Loving him came naturally, and in his arms, I found a place that finally felt like home. For a while, everything made sense. It felt like the universe had written our story long before we ever met. But even the most beautiful stories can fall apart. Without warning, the life we built together slowly slipped through our fingers. The dreams we held onto, the love we shared, and the future we imagined became fragile, breaking apart piece by piece until all that remained were memories. He was the one who taught me how to love. But standing here in the silence he left behind, I realized he had forgotten to teach me the hardest part...how to let him go. Some days, the weight of missing him is almost too much to bear. Still, I'd choose this pain over never having loved him at all, because every ache is proof that what we had was real. I'd trade my everything for just one more moment with him, for even a fleeting moment holds more joy than a lifetime without knowing him.Complete

I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
