The Other World

Human society almost dies out during the Dark Ages from an unexplained phenomenon of a child losing sanity and massacering everyone- with Magic. United nations utilize nuclear warfare to take out the child, resulting in global devastation. in the end only the child and a few teenagers are left alive. But mysteriously, "the child" disappears, never to be seen again. Due to psychological trauma, the teenagers unlock the ability to use Magic, but are emotionally healthy and stable unlike "the child, and from there they begin to redefine societal rules, attempt to create everything lost, and reproduce for survival. 3,000 years later, human exists abundantly, but not following the apetheosis of society that they dreamed of creating. All individuals born are born as Homo Sapien, but are classified under Sub-species: Mages, Demons, and Humans. Those born with the ability to use Magic are born as either Mages or Demons while those who don't are born as Humans. Mages and Demons largely differentiate in Magics, techniques, morals, and styles, creating a prejudiced discriminatory view on one another. Conversely, unlike Mages and Demons, Humans were the first to gain control in society, giving them the privilege of having political and social power. Mages and Demons fight one another for means of territory, vengeance, and power, and they avoid Humans. However, Humans fight Mages and Demons because they are seen as "Monsters" or "Atrocities". To counteract the Mages and Demons in terms of strength, Humans created an organization known as the AMS, or Anti-Magic Society, where they use unknown technologies to "steal" the Magic and Magical abilities from dead or weakened Mages and Demons and use them as their own. Christian, a skilled mage, wakes up from hospitalization with amnesia of his past due to The Incident. But quickly he, and a few others, learn of the group they formed under his leadership to counteract the war declared by the strongest Demon alive on the world.
