This is a story revolving around a young boy who is lost, broken, and filled to the brim with so many suffocating emotions. And in this story, this young boy who gradually learns to cope with the sufferings of his past, will face many tribulations and obstacles, while wandering and searching aimlessly for a road that will lead him to recovery, and hopefully, some healing as well. He will come face to face with the truth and how harmful it could be, and also the reality of certain situations-all the while battling issues that High School can ensue.

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone!
